Happy Birthday, Mom!

My mother was the first of 3 children.

She is the only girl with two younger brothers.
She was born in New York and raised there until she was 13.
At the age of 13 she moved from New York to the Midwest.
I don’t think she has ever gotten used to that move, as her heart is still in New York.  

Here she is as Miss Indiana in a roller skating competition.

Wasn't she hot stuff?!

 She was an incredible roller skater.

I can remember going to the roller skating rink as a kid and watching her do her thing.

I don’t think I was ever as good as she was. Well, I know I wasn’t. It’s just one of her many talents.

My mother has the best heart and will do anything for anyone.

She is one of my best friends.

She has picked me up each time I have fallen, dusted me off and encouraged me to back on my feet.

The best part of having her as my mom, is my kids having her as a grandmother. 

And they simply adore her!

I’m blessed to be her daughter; she's the greatest and I love her dearly.

Baseball

Today the Superhero and his father

had a mini-practice in the backyard

they left for the team practice

at the baseball fields!

I still love watching this guy play ball!!

One of my favorite things is watching my boys play pitch and catch.

Hard to believe that in just a few years, my little Monkey will be out there with them.

 Have I mentioned lately how much I love this sport??? I do, I really-really do.

Potty Time

My youngest is on his way to being potty trained!

I am SO thrilled.

He has officially started using the "potty" this past week.

He is really proud of himself too.

He gives us a high five, throws his arms up in the air and yells "Yeah"

Then flashes us this little smile

He is too cute!

Garrett loves to color it is one of his most favorite things to do throughout the day.

He is a very good artist, and I do not say that because I am his mother, I say that because it is true!

"Ca-las Momma, Ca-las"

Then Garrett will tell me to "Sit Momma, Sit" and so I sit next to him while he "ca-las".
