All of my post this week will reflect preparing for this vacation and flashbacks of last years vacation.
Today I packed for my three kiddos and I am completely done with them. That feels wonderful. Now I can focus on cleaning my house and packing for myself. Luckily my husband packs for himself. :)
First, I packed for the Princess
then was Mr. Monkey's turn
Last was my Superhero
I then packed their bags for the car ride.
I am tickled pink with the Fancy Nancy book. It is simply adorable.She has lots of stickers b/c she is a sticker girl.
Then we have pool barbie and Baby Born that can swim in the water.
I love Monkey's dinosaur bag. It is one of my favorite things.I bought him a new batman action figure b/c he has really been into those lately and a Handy Manny book that he will love.
Superhero loves to draw so I made sure to purchase plenty of paper and pencils to keep him occupied.He also loves to read so I bought a few new books for the trip.
The Indiana Jones action figure will thrill him. His Daddy and Grandpa are going to take him to see that movie during vacation time.
Last, I packed the beack towels and toys.Basically, I have 5 days, 7 hours, 32 minutes and 8 seconds left until vacation time. Can you tell that I am excited?

You need to get one of those countdown widgets and put on here. I so need a vacation too. My next one though will be supervising a bunch of teenagers at church camp. :0)

I hate packing for other people - I even have to pack for hubby!
I usually pack, unpack, and pack the bags yet again!
I have to pack hubby's bag too. Thats 6 in all!
I just love that holiday feeling!
My kids are looking forward to seeing the Indianna Jones move too.

Can I just say how very impressed I am?!? Five days before vacation and you already have the kids packed! I always mean to do this, but always end up running around like a crazy woman at the last minute. Life would be so much easier if I managed to do it your way.

Can't WAIT to see you guys Wednesday - I'll bring over all the camera stuff and the polka-dot bag, and the box of clothes. Sorry I didn't get back in town early enough to run it all by yesterday... Oh, well. You know me, I can never get away from my parents before 9 or 10 at night on Sundays.
Anyway, can't wait to see you in a couple of days here! Love ya!

Ahh_mazing....I am usually packing the morning of the trip (and that usually means a stop by Target to get those last minute items). I am trying to plan a fun vacation for the kids and I for the end of the summer. I'll start my packing before hand, looks like a better way to do things. :-)

i'm soooooooo impressed!!! i am the type that still has a load of clothes (that i need for my trip) in the wash at midnight before we're set to leave at 5am...
