Tagged

I've been tagged by the lovely Joy and Amanda for the exact same Meme!
The tag is to post six uninteresting things about myself.
So here I go…..

**Competitive**
I am a highly competitive person.
I’m not sure if this is a blessing or a curse!
But, I have been this way since I was little.

** Procrastinator**
I procrastinate on everything I do, seriously, everything I do!
I have always been this way too.
If I have somewhere to go or something with a deadline
I will wait till the very last possible moment to leave or complete the task at hand.
I guess you could say I do my best work under pressure!

**I HATE When Other People Discipline My Kids**
One of my top pet peeves.
If you don’t like my parenting skills, that is simply your problem.
It does not give you the right to tell them what to do or what not to do.
Raise your kids and I’ll raise mine.
Ohhh, that felt good to say!

**I HATE Gum / Food Smacking**
This drives me totally bananas.
I do not want to see or hear anything that is in your mouth!
Get some manners, darn it!

**Meg Ryan Look Alike**
When I was younger I would hear this almost daily.
Now that I’m grown….I hardly ever hear it!

**I’m a DittoHead**
Between the hours of 11:00AM and 2:00 PM, when possible, my radio is set on the EIB for the harmless, lovable little fuzz ball ~ All-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie.
I am a Rush Babe!!

Here's who I am Tagging:

If you want to play:
Link back to the person who tagged you.
Post these rules on your blog
List 6 uninteresting things about yourself.

I could so relate to the procrastinating! I do that all the time. And the gum chewing. My sister chews gum so loudly it drives me crazy (and she knows it!). Fun post!

I can totally relate to the procrastinating and food smacking. Unfortunately, I do not look anything like Meg Ryan though. But you definitely do!!! Lucky! :)

Thanks for tagging me. I'll post my meme sometime this week.

My kid isn't old enough yet for discipline from strangers, but what REALLY bothers ME is when people say "shouldn't the baby be wearing a coat?" or some variation on how he's not dressed appropriately for the weather.

PISSES ME OFF!!! And I always respond with something nasty (because I can't help myself) like "Yeah? Well let me give you some unsolicited advice, too! Your clothes are ugy."

How lovely to learn more about you Kendra. I'm with you when it comes to not wanting to hear, or see, what someone else is chewing.

Hope you are having a great day.
Love Elise

Good stuff, girlie! I agree about the disciplining - I doubt I'll react well if people [who I don't already know & love] someday try to discipline Liv. And the way she reacts to just US telling her 'No' or 'Don't' (she looks at us like we just broke her little heart, and just cries!), I can only imagine how she'll act if someone else hurts her little feelings! Talk about an ultimate guilt trip though!

I know some people that are kinda bad about food/gum smacking (or just open-mouth chewing - yuk!) and it drives me nuts as well.

And you DO look like Meg Ryan! I keep meaning to tell you, but I always forget - it was back when I passed the Wings of Compassion to you, I had your pic featured in either than entry, or one very soon thereafter... Anyway, someone actually commented that you look like her! You'll have to go back & check it out to remind yourself it's still true :o)

I've noticed the biggest discipline talking people usually have no kids or one. I feel your pain on that--it drives me crazy too!
My husband is the king procrastinator--I bought him a workbook called 'Stop being a Procrastinator" and no kidding he said "Oh I need this. I am going to start the first lesson tomorrow morning" That was over a year ago and the book is still untouched.

oh i totally know what you mean about people disciplining your kids. mind your own business.

for me, that ranks up there with other people try to help calm your trantrum throwing kids.
