I'm Back...

We arrived home Saturday evening. I really thought that I’d be happy to see home and to get back into reality, that is so not happening. I have bags that have yet to be unpacked, laundry that is piling up on me and my job is a major headache. "Welcome back", right?

Okay so enough of me complaining … I promise to perk up.
I must say that I feel much better after writing that. Ha.

Vacation was wonderful. Obviously so wonderful I didn’t want to come home! The kids were really well behaved … for the most part. They were great traveling as well.

I will post more this weekend, I hope, on the vaca but for now I’ll leave ya with a few photos from my wonderful vacation in Florida.

Our destination was Panama City Beach. This was our first time visiting that area. Not the prettiest town, at least from what I saw, but the beach was amazing. The water was beautiful and there were hardly any people vacationing in the area we stayed. We had the beach to ourselves for the most part.

We stayed at the Grand Panama. It just opened in December of 2007 and was fabulous. I would definitely recommend it.
Aren't the bunk beds adorable? But the kiddos didn't sleep in 'em...They slept here instead ... my bed!

Now lets see some photos of the beach, shall we?
I suppose it is nice to be home but like I said before I do miss the beach. Now I'm just counting down the days until next year. lol

Most importantly though, I did miss each of you, my blog-friends! It's good to be back.

Oh! I am so glad you are back! I would still stop by and see the same old post - hoping you had returned...for selfish reasons of course!! So glad you had a great time! Those bunk beds are cute!

Hi Kendra

Welcome back and I'm glad to hear you had a wonderful time. The place you stayed at looks fantastic and the beach just gorgeous.

It's amazing how you can have a beautiful and relaxed holiday. You feel so refreshed until you come home and have to unpack and tackle the enormous pile of laundry. I guess all of the laundry and general catching up is all part and parcel of a fabulous holiday and well worth it when you consider the special and memorable times your family had.

I'm looking forward to seeing more holiday photos and hearing more about what you got up to.

Love
Elise

WE are going down there for a softball tournament in July. We stay on the western end right next to Pier Park. I'm like you not the prettiest town but the beaches are nice. :)

What a gorgeous beach and hotel!

We just got back from a weekend trip and I'm up to my ears in laundry and unpacking. Taking a break to blog!

OMG, the kids slept in your bed...too funny. My little ones do the same thing except they are getting a bit too big so they compromise and take turns. Sometimes Mommy just needs the whole bed to herself. Great pictures...I am looking forward to my many beach destinations to come. It is always hard to return home, but like they say "HOME SWEET HOME".

Countdown to next year: ON!

PS-The laundry can always wait!
